On May 18, the T9 model arrived at JAC dealer showrooms, which is available in a single configuration with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The pickup costs 3,399,000 rubles, but under a special program you can buy it with a discount of 150 thousand rubles, the JAC press service clarifies. The warranty for the new product is five years or 150 thousand kilometers, whichever comes first.

The JAC T9 is a body-on-frame pickup truck with a length of just over 5.3 meters, which, in addition to China (and now also Russia), is presented in South Africa and Australia. In our country, the model is sold with a 2.0 petrol turbo engine (224 hp, 390 Nm), an eight-speed automatic transmission and a differential with a mechanical lock in the rear axle. The pickup’s carrying capacity is 1055 kilograms, and the dimensions of the cargo compartment are also given – 1520 × 1590 × 470.

The list of T9 equipment includes a multimedia system with a 10.4-inch touchscreen and support for CarPlay and Android Auto, a system for selecting driving modes (there are four in total: standard, sport, eco and for snow), hill descent and ascent assistance systems, front and rear parking sensors, as well as all-round cameras.

The Russian JAC model line also includes another pickup truck, the T8 Pro, which as of the end of May costs from 3,199,000 rubles for a 2024 model and from 3,049,000 for last year.

It is worth noting that back in March, Motor drew attention to the fact that price lists had been removed from the official Russian JAC website for unknown reasons. At the end of April, prices appeared again, but not for all models – the electric hatchback IEV7S was excluded from the list.
