A Peugeot 309 GTi, modified in a special way and owned by a Prodrive engineer, will be sold at auction.

Having extensive experience in motorsports, the owner decided to spare no expense in modifying the car. It took him 3 years to completely modify the car. Now it can not only be driven on public roads, but it can also serve as an excellent track car.

Extensive work has been done to the 1.9-liter four-cylinder engine under the hood, which receives a new internals and a Rotrex supercharger. It also features an aluminum radiator and intercooler, and now produces an impressive 370 hp. on racing fuel.

The updates don’t end there. The car received AP brakes with large six-piston calipers at the front, an Xtrac limited-slip differential, shortened driveshafts and a special gearbox. A custom exhaust system was also made for the car.

The owner also installed a roll cage, a pair of Sparco racing seats, an OMP steering wheel, after clearing the interior of everything unnecessary, an intercom system and even an electric handbrake.

The description says that the seller spent more than £100,000 on the car, but has only driven it 113 km since then.
