Avtodor wants to earn 40% more on “scarves” than a year ago

This year, the company expects to earn 105 billion rubles from all highways in the country – 40 percent more than last year. The collection plan was revealed to journalists by the Chairman of the Board of Avtodor, Vyacheslav Petushenko.

Last year, Avtodor earned more than 75 billion rubles on toll roads. This amount was a quarter more than planned. It is noted that it was possible to collect more due to both the increase in the cost of travel and greater demand from car drivers.

Traffic has continued to grow this year, up 13-14 percent in the first six months, with trucks driving more frequently.

Prices for travel were already increased in April. The indexation averaged eight percent, and in some areas — 15-25. The largest increase was noted in the M-3 sections in the Kaluga Region. On the M-4 “Don” the cost of travel increased by 6-20 percent, on the Central Ring Road it increased by 15 percent.

Currently, there are about five thousand kilometers of federal highways in the Avtodor network. More than three thousand of them are toll roads. Thus, the company manages the M-1 Belarus, M-3 Ukraine, M-4 Don, M-11 Neva, A-113 Central Ring Road, A-105 access road to Domodedovo Airport and A-107 Moscow Small Ring Road. The M-12 Vostok continues to be built: it is being extended to Yekaterinburg.
