So far, the only rich package has been offered, which can be ordered with a two- or three-row interior. Prices – 264,800 or 270,800 yuan (equivalent to 3.6-3.7 million rubles). The most equipped Haval H9 is comparable in China.
Under the hood of the diesel Beijing BJ60 is a self-developed turbo-four with a working volume of 1968 cubic centimeters. The unit is supplemented with a 48-volt starter-generator. Peak output is 163 horsepower and 400 Nm. It is stated that the diesel engine can start at -30° Celsius due to the cylinder preheating function.
The savings in fuel consumption relative to the gasoline version will be about ten percent. The power reserve of the diesel Beijing BJ60 is 1000 kilometers. The maximum weight of the towed trailer will be 2500 kilograms. But the maximum speed of the new product is 160 kilometers per hour, while its gasoline counterpart reaches 180 kilometers per hour. The transmission does not depend on the engine type: 8-speed automatic, all-wheel drive with reduction gear and cross-axle differential locks.
The Beijing BJ60 will also probably appear in Russia, because the BAIC concern is collaborating with the Kaliningrad Avtotor and plans to expand the line of localized models. In this case, the Tula Haval H9 will be challenged by a more modern and technologically advanced competitor.
