This possibility was admitted by the head of the Belgi plant, Gennady Svidersky, in a conversation with Sputnik Belarus. According to him, so far the company “hasn’t thought about it, but if AvtoVAZ succeeds, we will follow them.” AvtoVAZ has already succeeded: last week it became known that Lada cars appeared on Wildberries. True, for now they can only be bought in one region – in the Volgograd region. But in the future, the territory of online sales will cover all of Russia.

The Belgee brand is currently represented on the Russian market by a single model – the X50 crossover, also known as the pre-restyling Geely Coolray, assembled in Belarus. Current prices at the end of May range from 2,290,990 to 2,500,900 rubles, but the X50 is subject to discounts of 135-185 thousand rubles. There are three configurations to choose from, and regardless of the level of equipment, the crossover is driven by a 150-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo engine, which works in conjunction with a seven-speed robot. The Belgee X50 has only front-wheel drive, just like the Geely Coolray. By the way, both mentioned models, judging by the Geely website, are still sold in parallel.

As for car sales on marketplaces, this trend has been gaining momentum over the past six months. For example, on Wildberries, in addition to Lada, they already sell Chery, Omoda and Jaecoo cars. And last year, Ozon launched online car sales – it presents Moskvich vehicles, including the Moskvich 6 liftback.
