Every year, Top Marques Monaco attracts all sorts of crazy creations and incredibly fast supercars. Bertone unveiled its new GB110 supercar at this year’s show following a series of computer renderings in late 2022.

Bertone is one of the most iconic automotive design houses, but it went bankrupt in 2014. It was revived by two brothers and the GB110 was built to commemorate the company’s 110th anniversary.

The GB110’s body style is unlike anything else on the market: its front end looks chic with narrow headlights, and the strip that connects them is a bit like the front spoiler on the Dodge Charger EV.

The GB110 is based on a production car chassis, but Bertone doesn’t specify which one. We’re guessing it could be a Lamborghini Huracan. This is supported by the fact that it is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine complemented by a pair of turbochargers to produce 1,085 hp. and 1100 Nm of torque.

Bertone claims the GB110 will be the first supercar to run on plastic waste. In partnership with Select Fuel, the company has developed a patented technology to convert polycarbonate materials into renewable fuel.

“We believe that tackling pollution requires a variety of solutions using a variety of technologies. Plastic waste should be treated as a valuable resource. Through our partnership with Select Fuel, we are returning waste to its original form,” said Jean-Franc Ricci, CEO of Bertone.

The GB110 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.79 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 6.79 seconds and reach a speed of 300 km/h in just 14 seconds. The maximum speed exceeds 380 km/h. Power is sent through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission to all four wheels.

The car’s interior complements the aggressive exterior design with minimalist aesthetics. It features a digital instrument cluster, a flat-bottom steering wheel and a large center console separating the driver and passenger, much like the interior of a C8 Corvette. A small infotainment screen has been integrated, as well as a variety of buttons on either side of the steering wheel.

Only 33 copies will be made. Prices have not been announced.
