Journalists drew attention to the fact that this particular minivan is right-hand drive, which means it is aimed at foreign markets. And although the electric car is externally similar to the hybrid Song Max, there are also differences, for example, the front air intakes are designed differently.
The Song Max model is currently sold exclusively with a hybrid power plant, and this minivan can also be found in Russia – BYD models are brought to us privately on parallel routes. For example, an ordered Song Max 2023 can be brought to Russia for about 2.5 million rubles, and prices for those copies that are already in the country reach four million. This minivan can travel on pure electricity for up to 105 kilometers.

So, new BYD BD11 double-decker buses may soon hit the roads.
The BD11 is driven by two electric motors with a total output of 408 horsepower, and a 532-kilowatt-hour battery provides a range of up to 640 kilometers. From a 500-kilowatt charging station via a pantograph on the roof, the electric bus is charged to 100 percent in just two hours. The cabin is designed for 90 passengers, and the overall length of the bus is 11 meters. The main advantage of a Chinese bus is that it costs 20 percent less than British double-deckers.
