Five brands raised car prices in June

Five brands of cars have become cheaper in Russia. And five have become more expensive, as Avtonovosti Dnya found out during regular price monitoring on the Russian market. Among those that have increased the cost of their cars are Moskvich, Changan, Omoda and Lada. Omoda, Exeed, Jaecoo and Forthing, which localized the production of T5 crossovers and Yacht minivans at Avtotor in Kaliningrad, have reduced their prices.

During the first month of summer, cars of five brands became cheaper and more expensive, Auto News of the Day found out during regular monitoring of prices on the Russian car market. Thus, the cost of the Moskvich 3 crossover increased by 35 thousand rubles, or 1.9-2.1 percent. Models Changan CS75Plus, CS35 Plus, CS85 Coupe and CS95 lost the “additional benefit” of 50-150 thousand rubles, and three of them also increased in price by 50-100 thousand, as a result of which they became more expensive by 100-200 thousand rubles, or 2 .7-6.9 percent.

Muscovite

Omoda also had to update its price lists, and the brand did it twice in a month. First, the adjustment affected the C5 crossover and the 2024 S5 sedan: prices for the former in all trim levels increased by 50 thousand rubles, or 1.6-2.3 percent; and on the second, in two out of three versions, they, on the contrary, decreased by 100 thousand, or 4.3-4.7 percent. Towards the end of the month, the 2024 Omoda S5 sedan acquired a new basic Classic version, thanks to which the minimum cost of the model decreased by 20,900 rubles, to 1,999,000.

Exeed

The Exeed brand did the same, adding a new basic Business version to the updated LX crossover for 3,090,000 rubles. Because of this, the starting price of the car fell by 480 thousand rubles. In early June, AvtoVAZ raised prices for Lad Granta with a four-speed automatic transmission. A sedan with such a transmission has risen in price by 50 thousand rubles, or four percent; liftback – by 30 thousand, or 2.3 percent. The cost of Niva Travel has also changed: one configuration has fallen in price by seven thousand rubles, and three have risen in price by 23 thousand.

Finally, in June, the cost of JAC JS3 increased by 50 thousand rubles. Plus, the crossover lost the basic Comfort configuration for 2023, which was the cheapest in the range and cost 1,699,000 rubles.
