The LEVC L380, a large electric minivan aimed at export markets, has entered the Chinese market. Only four modifications with rear (272 horsepower) or all-wheel drive (544 horsepower), six (2+2+2) or eight (2+2+2+2) seats were put on sale, so the starting price was kept at 380 thousand yuan (52 thousand dollars).

LEVC L380 is the first-born of the revived British brand, which is famous for its London taxis. The index was chosen in honor of the Airbus A380 aircraft: they say, the minivan will be just as comfortable and will offer many cabin layout options for passengers of any class. For example, the Chinese implemented a 2+1 scheme with a separate throne chair on the second row and 2+2 with a common sofa in the back, a table and a large TV.

But all the characteristics are known: it is based on the SOA platform, which is technically close to the SEA architecture from Zeekr, the electric motors are taken from the pre-restyling models of the premium brand, there are options with batteries of 100, 116 or 140 kilowatt-hours, and the power reserve ranges from 570 to 805 kilometers ( CLTC).

The 5.3-meter long minivan with a curb weight of 2.8-3.2 tons is very dynamic: the braking distance from 100 km/h takes only 35.98 meters. The charging speed is also impressive: from 10 to 80% in half an hour or the equivalent of 200 kilometers in 10 minutes. The most expensive LEVC L380 goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds; these cars have air suspension, adaptive shock absorbers and leather/Alcantara trim. The partition between the cabin and the salon can be replaced with a huge monitor.
