In 2021, the South Korean company Genesis chose the American Monterey Car Week exhibition as the venue for the premiere of racing concepts for the popular Gran Turismo series of games – the main exhibit of the experimental installation The Performance of Design then became the G70 GR4 Gran Turismo sedan, developed with the participation of gamers along with the X-GR3 model and flagship supercar Vision Gran Turismo Concept. Another virtual supercar, Genesis, is scheduled to debut in 2023.
There is no information about the car, but a short video teaser makes it clear that we are talking about a supercar for the race track. In the video you can see a car with an aggressive aerodynamic body kit, wheels with a mono-nut, as well as a multifunctional steering wheel in the cabin.
A 2022 event with the participation of Gran Turismo and Genesis designers John Krsteski and Samir Sadikhov allows us to guess what kind of model this might be. At the meeting, they announced Genesis’s collaboration with Gran Turismo and showed teasers of the Hyper GT model, which is not similar to the already declassified virtual supercars and may well turn out to be the announced new product.

There is not long to wait for the premiere – a new car from the Gran Turismo video game park under the Genesis brand will be presented on December 2. It is possible that the virtual model will be followed by a completely real concept.
