In the coming days, the Russian premiere of the compact crossover HS3 will take place, followed by several more new products. In particular, the Russians were promised an all-wheel drive seven-seater HS7 all-terrain vehicle, which would be adapted to Russian conditions, as well as all-wheel drive modifications of the H5 and H9 sedans. Of greatest interest are the L1 sedan, which is comparable in size to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Long, and the luxurious HQ9 minivan.

The first photos of the Hongqi L1 appeared on the Internet only last spring, and the debut took place at the Beijing Motor Show. This is a 5.3-meter sedan with a wheelbase of 3.26 meters and a four-seater cabin with increased comfort. The executive sedan will differ from other models of the Chinese concern in its extraordinary design and decorative elements in the national style. There are combinations with a two-tone body, as well as three options for “monoblock” chrome wheels with a diameter of 19 or 20 inches. You will be offered a choice of a 394-horsepower “turbo-six” or a “turbo-eight” with 490 horsepower, both as part of hybrid units.

But HQ9 minivans can already be found on Russian roads – they can be driven privately and sold for almost 6.6-8 million rubles. It is planned that when Hongqi officially launches the HQ9 on the market, it will be offered with a hybrid powertrain and all-wheel drive. The same applies to the seven-seat crossover HS7.

It is known about the all-wheel drive H9 that instead of a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo-four with a capacity of 252 horsepower and a supercharged V6 3.0 (272 horsepower), it will have a new 1.8 gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 224 horsepower, a V6 2.5 with a return of 303 horsepower, an I4 2.0 and a modernized V6 3.0, boosted to 337 horsepower. Well, all-wheel drive is a proprietary HQ-AWD system.

Hongqi did not specify the launch dates for the listed models.
