Although the GMC Hummer EV electric pickup truck turned out to be quite brutal, it is far from the original Hummer H1. That’s where North American Electric Vehicles (NAEV) comes in with a new H1-based electric mod.

Called the Executive Edition Cyber-Hummer, the model features an all-aluminum body and 20-inch wheels wrapped in 37-inch all-terrain tires. NAEV hasn’t said anything else about the design changes, but it appears the model features LED headlights, auxiliary lights and a new front bumper with those nasty red tow rings.

On a sad note, the interior is pretty basic: apart from the Momo steering wheel and the 15.1-inch display, there’s nothing special about it. However, the company said the SUV will have a “state-of-the-art audio system,” as well as vegan leather trim and seating for up to six people.

The electric mod is equipped with a dual-motor system with a total output of 1000 hp. (746 kW). The company claims this will allow the Hummer to accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.

Power supply comes from a “Tesla Level 3 battery” that is said to offer a range of up to 480 km. The electric SUV supports NACS and CCS charging and features Tesla’s regenerative braking system.

The Cyber-Hummer also features a modern, fully adjustable independent suspension. Ground clearance exceeds 380 mm.

The Cyber-Hummer Executive Edition is scheduled to go into production this summer, and its cost will be $139,900 (~12.3 million rubles). The company also has plans to introduce more affordable variants of the Baja ($98,900) and Commander ($119,900).

The Baja is slated to have 300 hp. (224 kW) and acceleration time from zero to 96 km/h is exactly five seconds. Commander doubles power to 600 hp. (447 kW), while reducing the acceleration time to 96 km/h to 3.5 seconds.
