Hyundai is aiming to enter the European market with the new compact Inster – a 3.83-metre crossover hatchback that is similar in size and body format to the Citroen e-C3 and Dacia Spring.

The design of the electric Hyundai Inster is reminiscent of the Hyundai Casper, but the Inster has received “pixelated” graphics that distinguish modern Hyundai electric vehicles.

However, it is clear that the most important difference concerns the use of an electric power plant. The basic version of the Hyundai Inster should be equipped with an electric motor with a capacity of 71 kW (97 hp) and a battery with a capacity of 42 kW⋅h. But the maximum version of the Hyundai Inster will offer an electric motor with a capacity of 84.5 kW (115 hp) and a battery of 49 kW⋅h – this should be enough for a power reserve of 355 km.

In addition, Hyundai Inster will offer an interior with two 10.25-inch displays and a charging hub for smartphones. Rear passengers are offered a movable sofa in the second row, which will allow them to flexibly change the interior space and trunk volume. There is also an 11 kW charger (full charge of the battery in 4-5 hours) and the ability to quickly charge with a power of up to 120 kW – just like adults!

The start of Hyundai Inster sales is scheduled for the summer-autumn of this year. The exact cost of the electric car will become known at the start of sales; the approximate price will start from 20-22 thousand euros – just at the level of competitors.
