In February 2024, 328 billion rubles were spent on passenger cars, and in January – 240 billion, Autostat calculated. The February result was the highest over the past year, excluding December with 352 billion rubles. The Chinese earn the most: they accounted for 69 percent of all revenue in February, while domestic brands accounted for only 12 percent.

The leader in terms of revenue in February is the Chinese Geely, on whose cars Russians spent 44.52 billion rubles. Second place is occupied by Lada with 34.03 billion, third place by Haval with 30.82 billion.

Next in the top ten are Chery (30.06 billion), Li Xiang (23.19), Changan (16.55), Exeed (15.88), as well as BMW (11.63) and Mercedes-Benz that do not officially supply cars (11.31). Tank closes the ranking, earning 10.26 billion.

Also among the most profitable were two Li Xiang – Li L7 (1,477 units and 11.7 billion) and Li L9 (1,237 units and 11.38 billion rubles).

In March, some manufacturers decided to reduce car prices in Russia. Among them are Changan, FAW, Geely, Chery and Moskvich. As a rule, we are not talking about the entire model range, but only about specific versions, but savings in some cases reach 500-700 thousand rubles.
