The Russian brand Evolute brought i-Space to the market in early 2024. Then the three-row hybrid SUV assembled in Lipetsk was valued at 3,899,000 rubles without discounts and promotions. While most cars are becoming more expensive, i-Space (aka Dongfeng Fengon E5), on the contrary, has become more affordable: according to the current price list on the manufacturer’s website, the scene has decreased by 539 thousand rubles, to 3,360,000.

For 3,360,000 rubles, Evolute i-Space is offered in the only available configuration. Various promotions and offers, including credit and trade-in, can reduce the price by 361,000 to 2,999,000 rubles. For this price, for example, the basic Haval Dargo or the top-end Geely Coolray are offered.

The seven-seat i-Space is equipped with a gasoline-electric powertrain. It is based on a 178-horsepower electric motor connected to the front wheels, and a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine with 110 horsepower plays the role of a generator. The battery with a capacity of 17.5 kilowatt-hours provides up to 87 kilometers of travel exclusively on electric power. The total range is 1,150 kilometers according to the WLTC cycle.

The list of equipment includes a Huawei media system with a 12.3-inch screen, 12 audio speakers, climate control, a panoramic roof with a hatch, heated and ventilated front seats. There is also a built-in video recorder, all-round cameras, rain and light sensors and other assistants.

Evolute assembly began at the Motorinvest plant in Lipetsk in 2022. There are now five models in the lineup: i-Pro, i-Joy, i-Sky, i-Space, and i-Jet. The next new product should be the i-Van minivan, which was announced last fall. On the website, it is listed as “coming soon.”
