The company has published several images of the K4 sedan with an unusual body styled in the spirit of the Twist Logic concept. Among the features of the model are a relief body, as if consisting of twisted square shapes, hidden door handles and “fangs” of the front optics. So far, Kia has only shown pictures, and the specifications will be revealed in a week.

As Kia notes, the play of light on the K4’s body is best seen when viewed from the side, on the swept-back elements of the fenders and rear doors. By the way, in order to make room for design ideas, the doors were deprived of handles – they are built into the rear window pillars. From the front, the K4 demonstrates a new round of development of the signature Tiger Face with “fangs” of optics, like the K3 hatchback or the Sorento crossover.

The driver’s and passenger areas are clearly demarcated in the cabin. But not by turning the displays towards the driver, Kia points out, but visually: on the left there are more controls and a differently designed door card.

On the front panel there is a “tidy” and a multimedia system display in a modern single cluster, and below it are physical control keys for the climate control system and other functions. Above the driver’s door handle there are seat heating and ventilation buttons, the same ones for the front passenger. The equipment list will probably also include a head-up display.

In addition to Slate Green, the interior colors are Medium Gray, Canyon Brown and Onyx Black.

The engine range is expected to include a 1.6-liter turbo engine and a 2-liter naturally aspirated engine, and in some markets Kia will offer a hybrid powertrain. This is unofficial data for now. The brand should reveal details about the K4 during its premiere at the New York International Auto Show on March 27, 2024.
