The Lada Aura business sedan will be sold not only to officials, but also to private individuals
At the presentation stage, Lada Aura 2025 was positioned exclusively for the fleet of government employees. Let us remind you that the sedan was shown in the summer of this year. The car was built on the basis of the current Vesta, differing in some respects. Now it has become known that ordinary citizens will also be able to buy a business sedan.
This information was shared by TASS with reference to the words of the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov. Priority will certainly be given to the public sector. This was previously confirmed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. By the way, there is already a great demand for cars from the government apparatus. Nevertheless, Sokolov is confident that the Lada Aura will have an audience among ordinary car enthusiasts (photo: Lada).
Let us remind you that the production of the sedan is scheduled for September next year, but more precise dates will be announced later. As mentioned above, the Lada Aura is based on the Vesta, but it is longer. In particular, the rear distance has been increased by 250 mm. The interior is decorated with genuine leather, and the equipment includes a number of interesting comfort options. Under the hood there will be a 122-horsepower 1.8-liter engine, which will be paired with an automatic transmission.
In addition, AvtoVAZ plans to expand the offer of LADA Vesta and Niva with electric versions. Their tests have already begun.
