We are talking about Granta with the Cross prefix. And this will not happen by the end of the decade, but already in 2025, when the Iskra and its five-door version will hit the assembly line, writes the No Limits telegram channel, citing its sources. It is alleged that AvtoVAZ will remove the practical Granta from its lineup in order to eliminate internal competition between models.

The Lada Iskra, which will occupy a niche between the Granta and the flagship Vesta, should go on sale in early 2025. If AvtoVAZ presents the entire family at the same time, then Iskra Cross will take the place of Granta Cross.

Today, they are asking from one to 1.18 million rubles for such a Granta. The cost of the Iskra, according to the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, will also start at a million and reach 1.2 million. Judging by the small spread, he meant the initial version – a sedan. In addition, the cost was probably named taking into account today’s market realities, and by next year it may change.

In addition to the sedan and Cross station wagon, a “regular” station wagon will also be sold under the Iskra name. The car, presented in early June, was built on the CMF-B platform left over from Renault with imported parts. The engine range will include 1.6-liter VAZ engines with 90 and 106 horsepower.

In the future, Iskra should completely replace Granta. The latter will be produced for about five more years, starting next year.
