In terms of Russian currency, this amounts to about 530 million rubles. Bidding for one of the nine existing Italian roadsters was organized by the SBX Cars platform. At the same time, the one-of-a-kind model could not be sold for two years, since a dealership from Dubai initially valued the supercar at $9.5 million (approximately 838 million rubles). It is noteworthy that at the end of the online auction, no buyer was found for Veneno. However, representatives of the auction house reported that they still managed to find a new owner.

Lamborghini produced just nine Veneno roadsters in 2015. The presented supercar was the only one to receive a black body and a dark green interior. The supercar is equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 from the Aventador. The output of the unit is 750 horsepower. The model accelerates to “hundreds” in 2.9 seconds. At the time of bidding, the mileage of the supercar was only 1,778 kilometers.

The previous record holder for online sales was the Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta, which sold for $5,360,000 in 2022. At the same time, the SBX Cars site is going to break its own record in the near future by putting up for auction one of the three existing Lamborghini Veneno coupes with a range of about two hundred kilometers.

In mid-January in Russia there was an offer to buy the most expensive Ferrari in the country. For the 32-year-old F40 supercar, the seller asked for 300 million rubles.
