The press service of the Chinese brand’s subsidiary LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) shared new information about the L380 model. Confirmed: the minivan is named after the Airbus A380 aircraft, the cabin can accommodate three, six or eight people. The new LEVC will be the first-born of the modular SOA platform, technically close to the SEA architecture, familiar from Zeekr electric cars.

The positioning of the LEVC brand in the Geely structure has not yet been clarified, but we are not talking about utilitarian commercial minivans: a variant with luxurious interior decoration and comfort comparable to first class seats on an airliner has already been announced! It looks like the LEVC L380 will be sold both in China and abroad, for example in the UK.

From certification documents it is known that the length/width/height of the LEVC minivan are 5316/1998/1940 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 3185 mm. The single electric motor will develop 272 horsepower, and CATL cells with a capacity of 73 or 120 kilowatt-hours will be placed under the floor. Fast charging is promised from 10 to 80 percent in half an hour, and in ten minutes you can replenish the power reserve equivalent to 200 kilometers.

The first copy of the LEVC minivan has already rolled off the production line, the mandatory crash tests have been passed, which means the presentation is just around the corner. In China, the new product may go on sale closer to summer, but export deliveries will be delayed. We are waiting for all the details about the new brand in the Geely portfolio until the end of the first quarter.
