The Mazda CX-50 crossover, produced in the USA at a local plant jointly with Toyota, has become a hybrid – externally it can be easily recognized by the badge on the front wing and modified wheel disks.

We are talking about a hybrid power plant from Toyota, which consists of a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and several electric motors – by the way, also for driving the rear wheels. Thus, the Mazda CX-50 Hybrid crossover offers all-wheel drive and 222 hp of power.

In addition, the Mazda CX-50 crossover is still available in versions with a regular 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a power of 190 hp or its turbo version, producing 260 hp.

Other changes to the 2025 Mazda CX-50 include an expanded list of safety systems and the integration of the Alexa virtual assistant. The new Mazda CX-50 hybrid version also boasts its own version of a leather interior.

Sales of updated versions of Mazda CX-50 will begin in the United States within the next month. The newest hybrid version of Mazda CX-50 will arrive in showrooms a little later, but before the end of this year.
