The prototype was named Cyber GTS, as it was inspired by the historic racing model MGC GTS Sebring. The serial prospects of the coupe are unknown. Formally, nothing prevents MG from launching it into production, and in technical terms, the car will be completely similar to the open MG Cyberster. In this case, the coupe will receive a single- or dual-engine power plant with a capacity of 314 to 544 horsepower.

The electric roadster MG Cyberster, which is officially sold in Russia, will probably get a coupe version. This is hinted at by the prototype MG Cyber GTS, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the brand and dedicated to the MGC GTS Sebring model – the most successful of the MG cars that took part in the eponymous 12-hour race. In 1968, the two-door managed to come in tenth overall and take third place in the P3.0 class, behind two Porsche 907 sports prototypes.

If the MG Cyber GTS becomes a serial model, it will most likely have no differences in technology from the open Cyberster. The basic version of the roadster is a rear-wheel drive (314 hp) and a 64-kilowatt-hour battery, the middle one has a more powerful electric motor (340 hp) and a 77-kilowatt-hour battery. At the top of the range is a two-engine modification (544 hp), which accelerates to 100 in 3.2 seconds and reaches 200 kilometers per hour.
