It has recently become known that the domestic liftback Moskvich 6 2024 will be available in a version with a gas engine. The model was modified by the holding company RariTEK, which has experience in the field of cars on alternative fuel. The technical characteristics of this version of the car, as well as approximate prices, have already been disclosed. By the way, gas Moskvichs will cost a little more.

The holding company “RariTEK” has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan and the automobile enterprise “Moskvich”. As part of the cooperation, it is planned to launch mass production of modifications with a gas engine for both the crossover “Moskvich 3” and the liftback “Moskvich 6”. Production will be carried out at the “RariTEK” plant in Naberezhnye Chelny, where preparatory work is already underway.

The assembly of Moskvich models equipped with gas engines is planned to begin in August of this year. RariTEK intends to assemble more than 1,000 gas cars by the end of the year (photo: Moskvich).

According to Ramil Ishmaev, Commercial Director of RariTEK Engineering LLC, the gas version of Moskvich will cost approximately 120-130 thousand rubles more than the standard gasoline modification. The gas liftback is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 136 horsepower, working in combination with an automatic CVT transmission.
