New Ferrari supercars will lose a popular and familiar option

Marketing chief Emanuele Carando confirmed to reporters that built-in navigation will disappear from the list of factory equipment. According to a Ferrari representative, smartphones with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto mirroring protocols are much more user-friendly. The Purosangue crossovers and 12Cilindri supercars no longer have satellite navigation.

Two years ago, the Ferrari Purosangue crossover debuted without satellite navigation. Now the company has confirmed that they will no longer spend money on original solutions in this area. Emanuele Carando made it clear: smartphone navigation is more useful in the long run, and customers won’t have to deal with a new interface.
