New MG HS crossover shown in teasers

The second-generation model will debut next month at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and will likely be based on the Roewe RX5. Both traditional and plug-in hybrid powertrains are announced. Later, simpler petrol-electric systems will appear in the HS range. The crossover has a chance to appear in Russia as well: the brand has been officially represented here since last year.

The second-generation MG HS compact crossover will debut on July 11 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. According to some reports, the new model will be based on the Roewe RX5 (the brand, like MG, belongs to SAIC) and will receive a wide range of power plants. At the start, buyers will be offered regular and PHEV versions. Well, in 2025, the crossover will have another hybrid version, but without the ability to charge from the network.
