Nissan has announced its intention to present new camper models based on the Primastar and Interstar vans at the upcoming Motorhome Show in Düsseldorf. The event, which will take place at the end of August, is traditionally considered the largest event in the camper industry. The German division of the Japanese carmaker plans to show the Nissan Primastar Seaside by Dethleffs, developed in cooperation with Dethleffs.

The Nissan Primastar Seaside by Dethleffs is said to offer a flexible layout with six seats, a small kitchen and four berths. Two berths are located under a pop-up roof made of fiberglass that is resistant to hail and rocks.

In addition, the Primastar Flexvan version will be presented, which can be used both for transporting people and for family recreation. This modification offers various seating configurations – from two to eight seats, as well as an optional pop-up roof and an additional sofa.

In addition to the Primastar, Nissan is also preparing a camper van based on the new Interstar van, which will compete with popular models in this segment, such as the Volkswagen Crafter and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. This version will be called “PlugVan”. More information about Nissan’s new models for the camper market, including their pricing policy, will be presented at the end of August at the Düsseldorf exhibition. (Photo: Nissan)
