The X55 became the fourth car of the brand available on the Russian market. By the end of the year, the brand plans to expand its lineup to seven cars.
The dimensions of the BAIC X55 are 4620 mm in length with a 2735 mm wheelbase. Thus, the Chinese crossover is comparable in size to the Toyota RAV4. The model is equipped with narrow LED optics, a massive radiator grille with a cellular structure, a panoramic roof and retractable door handles.

The crossover package includes an automatic parking system, adaptive cruise control, eco-leather interior and many driver assistants. During the official presentation, representatives of the Chinese brand did not disclose other details of the equipment.
The 178-horsepower turbo engine allows the X55 to accelerate to “hundreds” in 7.8 seconds. According to official specifications, the crossover consumes 7.7 liters of fuel per hundred kilometers. The cost of the Chinese new product from Russian dealers ranges from 2,755,000 to 2,999,999 rubles.
At the beginning of September, the safety of the BAIC X55 was checked during a crash test. According to the test results, the crossover demonstrated the maximum result.
