Skoda has presented a very important model for itself – an entry-level electric crossover called the Skoda Epiq.

A fairly ambitious name meets ambitious goals: to expand the range of electric vehicles and become an entry ticket for new customers. This should be helped by the cost of 25 thousand euros or a little more than 2.5 million rubles, as well as the pleasant design of the Skoda Epiq.

Epiq is designed in the format of a compact 4.1-meter crossover. However, even in these small dimensions, the designers found interesting solutions: vertical air intake slits at the front and rear, thick rear roof pillars, matte Moon White paint, and the headlights combine a T-shaped design and modern MATRIX LED lighting technologies.

It looks like the Skoda Epiq will be based on the Volkswagen ID.2, which means a front-mounted electric motor and battery within the wheelbase. However, there are no exact characteristics yet. It is only known that the power reserve will be up to 400 km.

It is also known that even taking into account the compact size of the electric car, it will offer a 5-seater interior and a 490-liter trunk. Moreover, the interior design will be made in a new style, simple and elegant, and with extensive use of recycled materials. In addition, pay attention to the orange decorative inserts that decorate the interior of the Skoda Epiq.

It is worth noting that the new Skoda Epiq is far from the only electric car that Skoda plans to introduce this year: the Skoda Elroq will debut soon. In general, by 2026 the company should introduce six new electric vehicles.
