The line of pickup trucks has been revised: Ram has decided to abandon the “charged” version of the TRX – it will be replaced by another, but less powerful one. In addition, there are no eight-cylinder engines left in the engine range, instead there is now a three-liter unit of the Hurricane family in two boost variants, 420 and 540 horsepower. In addition to all of the above, the 1500’s appearance was improved, towing capabilities were improved and a third screen was added.
Externally, the updated Ram 1500 can be recognized by the radiator grille, which has increased in size, modified optics and different bumpers. In the cabin, a third screen appeared in front of the front passenger – its diagonal is 10.25 inches. The most expensive version in the line is the RHO, which will replace the mentioned TRX: this pickup truck has a 540-horsepower 3.0-liter engine. But it will have to wait, since it will go on production only in the third quarter of next year. Other options will begin to be assembled in the first quarter.

Ram also showed a hybrid 1500 Ramcharger with a four-motor installation: it has two electric motors in the front with a capacity of 340 horsepower, one in the rear with 324 horsepower, as well as an internal combustion engine that acts as an energy generator and charges a battery with a capacity of 95 kilowatt-hours. The total range of the electrified pickup reaches 1,100 kilometers, and on pure electricity it travels 230 kilometers. Acceleration from zero to 60 mph (97 kilometers per hour) is 4.4 seconds.
As for the aforementioned Ram 1500 TRX, its farewell version TRX Final Edition was announced back in August: such crossovers will be produced in a limited edition of four thousand copies. The price of the limited-edition pickup truck, equipped with a 712-horsepower version of the 6.2-liter engine, is $119,620 (more than 11 million rubles at today’s exchange rate).
