More than a year after the appearance on our market, the three-row crossover is ready to appear in a new guise and with more modern equipment. The market debut of the new flagship will take place on August 30. As Chinese Automobiles write, citing their own sources in the dealer community, it will cost expectedly higher than the current Tiggo 8 Pro Max: the difference will be about 250 thousand rubles.

Chery herself hinted at the imminent premiere of the novelty in her telegram channel, posting pictures of fragments of the car with the debut date. The photos show the updated Tiggo 8 Pro Max with a refreshed exterior with a new grille and an interior in the style of the Arrizo 8 business sedan, familiar to Russians.

The novelty will also be distinguished by more advanced equipment, but the “technique” will pass from the current Tiggo 8 Pro Max without changes. This is a two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 197 horsepower (375 Nm of torque), combined with a seven-band “robot”. The drive of the crossover is full.

The cost of the update will increase by about 250 thousand rubles, dealers report. That is, if now the price varies from 4,080,900 to 4,380,900 rubles, then they will ask for a novelty from 4,330,900 to 4,630,900 rubles, excluding various discounts.

A month ago, Chery showed another Tiggo 8 Pro Max. This is a model for Malaysia, which differs from the Russian one not only from the outside, but also from the inside. In addition to a different interior, the Malaysian version received a two-liter engine with increased power – 256 forces. The price is lower and starts from 3.1 million in terms of Russian rubles.
