Car owners will be able to remove their cars from state registration in the event of theft if they submit an application. TASS writes about this with reference to the amendment to the second reading of the bill on the exclusion of compulsory motor liability insurance from the list of mandatory documents when registering a vehicle.

The amendment has already been supported by the Duma Committee on Transport and Transport Infrastructure Development.

The bill itself, which was amended, was adopted by the State Duma in the first reading in November last year. According to it, Russians will be able not to provide an MTPL policy when registering a car, and also to deregister the car with the traffic police immediately upon sale, and not 10 days after applying.

In Russia they can introduce marking of spare parts, but under one condition. For concealing license plates, they want to deprive the rights for a year and a half. The traffic police are no longer there: the old name has returned

Upon application, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate will terminate state registration of a stolen or stolen vehicle that is on the wanted list. Thus, the owner will not have to provide information to various authorities about the actual absence of his car.

Meanwhile, in Moscow they are going to significantly increase fines for driving “hare” on toll roads. Failure to pay will result in a sanction of up to 30 thousand rubles, but drivers will have a period during which they can pay the fare and cancel the fine.
