In China, details about the all-wheel drive version of the gasoline-electric crossover have been revealed. The C-DM system will consist of a 1.5 turbo engine (156 horsepower, 215 Nm), a 34.5 kilowatt-hour battery, and electric motors will be located on the front and rear axles. The peak output of the power plant is 605 horsepower and 915 Nm of torque! At the same time, the declared power reserve is 1000 kilometers.

The Exeed RX has been sold in Russia since last summer, but only gasoline crossovers with all-wheel drive and a robot are available here. A more conservative version with a classic automatic transmission has already appeared in China, and now three hybrids are on the way: with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, as well as two options for traction batteries (19.4 or 34.5 kilowatt-hours). On electric power, such crossovers will be able to travel 83, 160 or 150 kilometers (WLTC), and the total range reaches 1343 kilometers!

Interestingly, the three-motor RX will aim to be the fastest and most powerful not only among the Exeed, but also in the line of the parent brand Chery. The declared acceleration from 0 to 100 is only 4.96 seconds, while the consumption of AI-92 gasoline in the combined cycle will not exceed 6.8 liters per 100 kilometers. However, these are certification parameters, and in reality hybrids can be more voracious. The front-wheel drive hybrid will develop up to 367 horsepower and 605 Nm.

Externally, the hybrid Exeed RX will be distinguished only by an additional charging hatch. Original dashboard graphics may appear in the cabin, and trunk volume will probably be reduced, because the batteries are by no means nominal. Chinese prices for gasoline-electric crossovers will be revealed before the end of the first quarter.
