The auto picker spoke about the advantages and disadvantages of the cheaper Suzuki Fronx

The compact crossover Suzuki Fronx, which was created specifically for the Indian automobile market, is already available in Russia as part of parallel imports. Not long ago it became known that this model has fallen in price in our country. But is it worth buying? The auto picker answered this question during an interview with the cenyavto.com portal.

Advantages

Engine. One of the Fronx’s main selling points is its fuel-efficient 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine. Despite the relatively modest 103 hp, this engine demonstrates an impressively low appetite, allowing for significant savings on fuel costs. And in city traffic jams and frequent stops, moderate power will come in handy.

Reliability. The second indisputable advantage of the Suzuki Fronx is its traditional reliability for the brand. Japanese engineers created this crossover with an eye to durability and ease of maintenance. Even after many years of use, Fronx will serve its owner well.

Ideal for the city. It is impossible not to note the excellent adaptability of this model to urban realities. Compact dimensions and good maneuverability allow Fronx to feel like a fish in water on tight streets and parking lots of big cities. And the crossover layout gives it the cross-country ability necessary for Russian conditions.

Flaws

Transmission. However, the Fronx also has some drawbacks that may make potential buyers wary. One of them is the outdated 4-speed automatic transmission. Although it is reliable, like all Japanese gearboxes, its characteristics are significantly inferior to modern multi-range automatic transmissions.
