The Chinese automaker and the IT giant are preparing a joint project. As you can see in the image published by Car News China, it will be a fairly large sedan or liftback with a sleek design. The model will hit the market under the GAC Trumpchi sub-brand early next year. GAC will probably be responsible for the chassis, and Huawei, which has big plans for the auto industry, will deal with smart electronics.

Almost nothing is known about the future sedan from GAC and Huawei. The company announced the joint project at the Beijing Auto Show, promising several models with autopilot and the latest generation Harmony OS operating system from Huawei with a built-in application store and voice assistant.

In addition to the sedan, two more models will be produced: a large minivan and an SUV. All cars will be in the premium segment. The firstborn will appear in the first quarter of 2025.

GAC and Huawei began collaborating back in 2017. The Guangzhou-based automaker was one of the first to use Huawei technology in cars. In the fall of 2020, the partners signed an agreement to create a digital platform.

The updated Aito M5 will be sold in Russia under the Seres brand. Details about the large Huawei crossover have appeared. Sales of the Luxeed S7 sedan, developed by Chery and Huawei, will begin.

However, GAC is not Huawei’s only automotive partner. In addition to him, the company cooperates, for example, with Changan, together with which it created the Avatr brand, which is familiar to Russians.
