Sales of the 2024 Boyue Cool have started in China. However, the Cool prefix is no longer used in the brand’s homeland: the “shortened” version is called Boyue, and the long-wheelbase version is Boyue L. In Russia, the names Atlas Cool and Atlas are expected, respectively, and Geely plans to expand its model line this year. In China, the crossover has become seven percent cheaper, although the basic configuration has become richer.

New Geely Atlas: design above all

The new product differs from the Atlas familiar to Russians in design and dimensions. The lighting technology has changed (headlights with Y-shaped daytime running lights), the shape and structure of the bumpers have changed, and the body is completely different – shortened by 160 millimeters. The wheelbase has been reduced by 76 millimeters, although the CMA platform has been retained.

In terms of technology and interior, the Atlas and Atlas Cool are as similar as two peas in a pod. After the update, the “younger” crossover now has a purple leather interior trim, and you no longer have to pay extra for all-round cameras, a “transparent” hood, and cruise control. The price has dropped to 92,800 yuan ($12,800); the first customers who pre-order will be able to save another 5,000 yuan ($690).

Prices for the new generation Atlas start at 3.2 million rubles, and the crossover with the Cool prefix should be cheaper.
