Hennessey Performance, which is famous for its powerful cars based on models of American brands, organized another drag race between two models. To compete with the standard Chevrolet Corvette C8, tuners from Texas chose the Dodge Ram TRX, equipped with a package of modifications of their own design and transformed into a 1200-horsepower superpickup Mammoth 1200 TRX, which became one of the most powerful cars in the company’s portfolio.

The Dodge Ram TRX pickup truck, modified by the Hennessey Performance tuning studio to match the 1000-horsepower Mammoth 1000 TRX, has a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 under the hood producing 1000 horsepower and 1315 Nm of torque.

But the Mammoth 1200 version lacks the off-road body kit, is equipped with 18-inch wheels, the engine is converted to E85 fuel, and also has a number of additional changes that made it possible to gain another 200 horsepower on top.

The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 with racing roots that produces 670 horsepower and 625 Nm. The engine is combined with an 8-speed robotic gearbox, and this particular test unit also has an additional Z07 body kit with carbon fiber decoration, but this hardly helps the car in a straight line race.
