Most often, Russians choose December to register their car. This was reported by Gazeta.Ru with reference to data from the Avto.ru Reports service over the past five years. A sharp decline in registrations is recorded in early March, although in general March is the second busiest month of the year for MREO employees.

The most popular date among car owners is December 27. On this day last year, 33.5 thousand cars were registered. Analysts note that this day combines annual bonuses and the desire of dealers to sell cars before the start of the new year, when they become last year’s.

Before March 8th, the queues at the MREO are thinning out. A possible reason is that women receive cars as gifts and come to register them after the holiday. Overall, March is the second busiest month.
