The Avtostat agency published the results of SUV sales in June 2024, based on registration data from JSC PPK. According to the report, the “Chinese” continue to strengthen their positions: they completely occupied the top five, displacing domestic SUVs from it. Thus, the market leader remained the Tula-assembled Haval Jolion, and the Nivas this time got only the seventh and tenth lines.

The top three in June remained the same as in May. Haval Jolion sold 6,983 units in June. This is 47.5 percent more than in the same month of 2023. Demand also grew by May: then Russians bought 6,354 of these crossovers. In second place is Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max with 5,510 units sold and a 22 percent increase in sales compared to June 2023. Third place again went to the inexpensive Chery Tiggo 4 Pro (4,874 units sold, an increase of 88.6 percent).

Next comes Changan CS55 Plus, which was chosen by 3936 Russians, and then Geely Monjaro with a similar result – 3933 cars sold. Moreover, the growth by June 2023 for both models is similar – 3.7 and 3.9 times, respectively.

Also in the top ten leaders of the segment was the Omoda C5 (3,582 cars, plus 16.8 percent). Niva Travel was only in seventh place with 3,515 units sold. In a year-on-year comparison, demand grew by 19 percent, but compared to May, the SUV lost almost 700 buyers.

It was followed by the Belarusian-Chinese Belgee X50 (3,246 units) and the Chinese Haval M6 (3,066 units). And the classic Niva Legend closed the rating with a result of 3,048 units, an increase of 18.8 percent compared to June and a drop of more than 600 units compared to May.
