The fact that the Tiggo 7 Pro Max with a new design will go on sale by the end of summer was confirmed by the Chery representative office, but the company did not name any prices or sales dates. Apparently, you won’t have to wait long for the new product: it has already been photographed in one of the car dealerships. It is expected that the refreshed Tiggo 7 Pro Max will be slightly more expensive than the current crossover, which, by the way, remains the brand’s most popular model in Russia.
A few days earlier, Chery published a darkened teaser of the updated Tiggo 7 Pro Max, but it was difficult to judge from it the changes that had occurred in the exterior of the car. Now it has become obvious that the design is made in the style of the hybrid Tiggo 7 Pro Plug-in Hybrid – the crossovers have a similar design of optics and radiator grille.
The interior was brought into line with the Tiggo 7 Plus, which is sold in China: a single console that combines a digital instrument panel and a touchscreen for the multimedia system, a gear selector with a decorative transparent “crystal” insert, and touch keys that replaced physical buttons.

It has been officially confirmed that the updated Tiggo 7 Pro Max will be offered in six trim levels (Active, Active AWD, Prime, Prime AWD, Ultra and Ultra AWD) and in two versions – with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The combination of the 1.6 engine and the seven-speed “robot” will remain the same. The engine output is the same 150 horsepower, it runs on AI-92 gasoline and consumes 7.7 liters per 100 kilometers in the combined cycle. Acceleration from zero to “hundreds” of the updated Tiggo 7 Pro Max takes the same 9.7 or 9.8 seconds (depending on the type of drive) as the current crossover.
