The Spanish brand Cupra, which once grew from “charged” Seat models into an independent automaker, updated the Cupra Leon family in the spring of 2024, which includes a five-door hatchback and a Sportstourer station wagon. The German company JE Design turned its attention to the basic five-door and prepared a comprehensive tuning for the car. However, so far only the external styling has been presented, and the technical improvements will debut next fall.

The main feature is the 20-inch Copper-R alloy wheels, which are available in two different designs – Lucca and Rubi – but smaller 18- and 19-inch sizes are also available.

The wheels are complemented by a two-piece front splitter, decorative “gills” on the front fenders, side skirts and a two-piece rear spoiler. Other accessories available now include carbon fiber mirror caps and a protective strip on the base of the tailgate in a glossy black or matte silver finish.

Additional improvements will be shown in the fall. Technical changes were limited to a set of lowering springs, reducing the Cupra Leon’s clearance by 30 millimeters. Tuning from JE Design does not imply any intervention in the power units.
