As of the end of 2023, it was 8,976,763,998 rubles, the Avtopotok Telegram channel reports, citing Fedresurs data. Moskvich currently produces several models: crossovers with the 3 and 3e index, as well as the Moskvich 6 liftback. The fourth model, the large three-row Moskvich 8 crossover, is on the way. By the end of the year, the plant expects to produce about 26 thousand cars.

At the beginning of 2024, Moskvich’s financial report was published: the plant’s net loss for 2023 increased by 3.6 times, to 8.6 billion rubles, while revenue grew by 59.2 percent, to 57.5 billion. The report also contained information on the company’s total debt: it amounted to 42.6 billion rubles, which is 2.5 times more than the previous year’s figure.

Earlier, the head of KamAZ Sergey Kogogin said that in order for Moskvich to become profitable, it must produce more than 40 thousand cars per year. According to the initial forecast, 35 thousand cars were supposed to roll off the assembly line in 2024, but in April the plan was reduced to 26 thousand. With such a volume of production and sales, the plant will remain “planned to be unprofitable.”

It has become known when the Moskvich 8 will go on sale The Moskvich 3 crossover has become almost half a million rubles cheaper since the beginning of the year KamAZ has fully revealed the “charged” version of the Moskvich

Today, Moskvich has one technology partner — the Chinese JAC, whose models are manufactured in Moscow and sold under a local brand. In March of this year, RBC, citing a source at the plant, reported that negotiations were allegedly underway with several companies at once, “some of which are not yet present on the Russian market.” Kogogin did not confirm this information. “We are not looking for any partner, we are developing a product that already exists,” he emphasized.

Let us recall that in September 2023, Moskvich was given the status of an industrial complex. Thanks to this, the car plant pays a reduced income tax rate of 13.5 percent instead of 17. In addition, the enterprise pays a real estate tax of 50 percent of the calculated amount, and a land tax of 20 percent. At the same time, the rental rate is 0.3 percent of the cadastral value of the land plot.
