The device is called the Windisible Wind Tunnel and is available in three sizes: for 1:18, 1:24 and 1:64 cars. Just like in a real tunnel, you can set the air flow speed and add smoke to see how the jets bend around the body. Or turn on the backlight to visualize the vortices that occur when the boundary layer separates.

The Windisible Wind Tunnel will begin production in August, with the first deliveries to customers scheduled for September. The miniature 1:64 wind tunnel will cost $129 (11,500 rubles), 1:24 — $199 (17,600 rubles), and 1:18 — $289 (25,500 rubles). The authors of the idea have already raised $180,000 on Kickstarter, so there is every chance that they will bring the idea to fruition.

For example, Ferrari owners can install a miniature version of their car in Windisible. Since 2023, they have been able to buy one thanks to Ferrari’s collaboration with Amalgam. Buyers who ordered a Roma, 812 Superfast, 812 GTS, Portofino M, SF90 Stradale or SF90 Spider received a scale model that exactly replicates the real supercar.
