Have you ever looked at a Land Rover Defender and thought, “It would be so much better if it were built on a Jeep Wrangler chassis”? No? We didn’t think so either. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be someone who thinks it would be a great idea. This is how this Defender was born, built on a Jeep JK Wrangler chassis and, in addition, equipped with a GM LS3 V8 engine.
It’s called the Blackbridge Motors Defender 110 Mark IV. The custom SUV combines the charm of a Defender with modern technology, including a modified Jeep Wrangler chassis and a long wheelbase.
At the heart of the Mark IV is a 425-horsepower 6.2-liter LS3 V8 from GM Performance. It’s mated to General Motors transmission components, including a six-speed automatic transmission and transfer case. There is an alternative in the form of the LT1 V8 with 450 hp. with an eight-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission.
The restomod boasts heavy-duty Dana HD axles, Wilwood power-assisted brakes, and custom Fox shocks.
Premium materials are used in the interior. The flooring features Cilewich and the creamy white leather upholstery adds a touch of elegance. Modern amenities, including a 9-inch touchscreen display, are combined with analogue instruments.
The base price of the lackbridge Motors Defender 110 Mark IV is $169,950 (~15.6 million rubles).
