The two-wheeled vehicle in its original packaging appeared on the free classifieds site on June 12, and on June 28 the motorcycle had already changed its owner. The last price – 2.1 million rubles – did not bother those interested, because we are talking about “capsule” technology, which has been preserved in its original form since 1991! The Java-350 was never taken out of the shipping box, and the engine was not started.

Judging by the photos, the Jawa motorcycle has indeed been sitting in a box for a long time: all the parts are covered with a thick layer of dust and cobwebs, but there are no signs of use or scratches. The chrome parts are wrapped in wax paper, and the box was covered with transport film to avoid exposure to sunlight.

The technology is familiar to all motorcycle enthusiasts: in 1991, Czechoslovakia still produced classic versions of the Jawa 350/639 with a two-cylinder 26-horsepower (32 Nm) engine and a four-speed gearbox. With such an engine, a motorcycle weighing 152 kilograms could accelerate to 128 km/h. However, after a long period of inactivity, the bike will require extensive maintenance.
In 1990, a Jawa motorcycle cost 1,100 rubles, but now the price range is wide: from several tens of thousands of rubles for bikes that have seen life and require restoration, to 400-900 thousand rubles for well-maintained examples with almost no mileage.
