The “charged” Cadillac CT5 V-series has a 33-inch screen. The CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing entered the 2025 model year with a number of updates: their appearance was slightly tweaked and the interior was modified, while at the same time the operation of auxiliary systems was improved and the list of equipment was expanded. “Charged” versions of the sedan were updated three months after the debut of the restyled CT5, and their appearance is timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the V-series. Production of the Cadillac CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing will begin this summer.
Volkswagen Golf has been updated, become smarter and more powerful
Volkswagen has updated the Golf: buttons instead of touch panels, more power and range. The iconic model turns 50 this year, and the German brand decided to celebrate the anniversary with the latest restyling before the ninth generation, which will be fully electric. Externally, the Golf has not changed much, but a new media system with built-in ChatGPT has appeared in the cabin, the power plants have become more powerful, and the range of the hybrid version has increased. The GTI Clubsport, Golf R and Golf Variant R will hit the market in the second half of the year.
Century will become Toyota’s luxury sub-brand
Toyota could make the Century line a separate premium brand. According to Forbes, which cites an anonymous top manager of the Japanese brand, the new sub-brand will surpass the status of Lexus cars, which today are considered the luxury segment of Toyota. However, when Century may separate from the parent company is still unknown. It is expected that in the new status, cars will begin to be actively exported around the world. It is not yet known when cars will lose the Toyota prefix.
First look at the new Kia body-on-frame pickup
Spies have declassified a new frame pickup truck from the Korean brand Kia. This is the first time spies managed to capture a new product – it was discovered in one of the parking lots in South Korea. A full review of the camouflaged prototype was published by the local YouTube channel Woopa TV. It is expected that the pickup will be built on the basis of the Mohave SUV, and the main markets for it will be Australia and New Zealand. However, the model may appear outside these countries, as it is positioned as global.
