The upcoming new products of the premium Chinese brand in our country will be a seven-seat crossover and a minivan. Izvestia writes about this with reference to the brand director of the Wey 05 crossover, Yuan Jie. His words were confirmed by the Russian representative office of Great Wall Motor, Wey’s parent company, but no deadlines have yet been announced.

The company does not disclose details, but now there is only one minivan in the Chinese Wey line – Alpine. Sales at home began in December last year, and in January the model was photographed on the territory of the Tula Haval plant.

Alpine has seven- and six-seat versions with different powertrains. The first is equipped with a hybrid installation based on a 1.5-liter engine with a total output of 487 horsepower. Using pure electricity, such a van will travel 140 kilometers. Another option is with a 458-horsepower unit and 170 kilometers of electric range. In China, they ask for an Alpine from 335.8 to 405.8 thousand yuan (4.3-5.2 million rubles).

There are more questions with the crossover, notes Chinese Cars. The most likely contender is the flagship Lanshan with a 5.2-meter body, but by default it has only six seats. Lanshan has a plug-in unit based on a 1.5 internal combustion engine with a total output of 330 horsepower. The maximum range in electric mode is 180 kilometers, and in hybrid mode – 1200.

The Wey brand appeared in Russia quite recently: in February, the Wey 05 crossover entered the market, which in its initial version was valued at 6.5 million rubles. Its installation also works according to the PHEV scheme and produces 421 horsepower.
