Xcite, which currently sells only one crossover, the X-Cross 7, plans to open 250 showrooms by the end of the year. The PromRating Agency writes about this with reference to the press service of the brand. Now it already has 52 showrooms, which operate on the basis of official Lada outlets. Sales in seven major Russian cities, including Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan, began on May 27.

About two hundred more Xcite salons will open in Russia by the end of 2024. That is, in terms of the number of sales points, the brand will approach Lada, which has about 300 dealership centers in its network. For now, zones in Lada car dealerships are being designated and decorated for Xcite. It is unknown whether separate points will open.

If all goes according to plan, Xcite will leave behind the foreign brand with the largest dealer network. Today it is the Chinese Chery, which operates more than 200 showrooms.

The new domestic brand XCite is already preparing a new model. The ex-Nissan plant, where Xcite crossovers are assembled, sent workers into downtime. The reason for the downtime at the ex-Nissan plant in Russia has been revealed.

Xcite X-Cross 7 entered the Russian market on May 27. So far, there is sales data for the first five days: from May 27 to May 31, 76 crossovers were sold. Moreover, as of June 5, about 10 thousand cars were produced. So much has been collected since February of this year, when the X-Cross 7 entered the assembly line of the Avtozavode St. Petersburg plant (formerly Nissan).

The first-born Xcite is offered in two versions – Enjoy and Techno, priced from 2,499,000 rubles. The car is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 147 horsepower and a CVT; accelerates from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 9.8 seconds. Front-wheel drive only.
