Yuanhang unveils Y6 electric sedan with over 1,000 km range

The presentation of the new Yuanhang Y6 electric sedan took place in China. Serial production and sales of the company plans to begin next month. The novelty is created on the electric platform Yuanhang BHD (Beyond the Horizon of Drive), developed jointly with Bosch and Huawei.

Depending on the version, Yuanhang Y6 can be rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive version is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.

Depending on the capacity of the traction battery, the rear-wheel-drive electric sedan can travel 720 or 810 km on a single battery charge.

The all-wheel drive car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds and travel from 620 to 1020 km without recharging. The dimensions of the electric vehicle (length – 5270 mm, wheelbase – 3130 mm) indicate that the electric sedan should provide a significant supply of usable space for passengers in both the front and rear rows.

Inside, the driver will find a large 17.38-inch vertical center display, a digital instrument cluster and a two-spoke steering wheel.

The media is reported to use Alibaba’s AliOS operating system. It is known that depending on the version and size of the battery, the prices for the new product will vary from 45,900 to 73,800 dollars.
