The Delta and Genesis project will debut in December: an SUV based on the GV70 model
The 2023 Genesis GV70 crossover was presented in an off-road version, but for now in concept status. One of the most premium Hyundai models has turned into an expeditionary SUV thanks to the efforts of the Delta studio, which turned 40 years old. The creation of this concept is timed to coincide with the anniversary of the company, whose specialization is the introduction of off-road technologies. The new product was called GV70 Project Overland: compared to the original, the car received a wider track, increased ground clearance and additional attributes. In addition, the wheels and tires were replaced.
The arsenal now includes a roof rack, complemented by LED chandeliers. Its debut is scheduled for early December at the Essen Motor Show in Germany. Specifications have not been announced, but they will likely remain the same. Under the hood in this case there will be a 304-horsepower 2.5-liter turbo-four or a 201-horsepower 2.2-liter diesel engine. In combination with them there is an 8-automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Meanwhile, the company is already developing an updated version of the standard Genesis GV70 (photo: Genesis).
