Maxim Sokolov: next year 30 thousand Lada Largus station wagons will be assembled

Yesterday, December 15, was marked by a rather significant event for the Russian AvtoVAZ plant. In Izhevsk, the conveyor was launched to produce the first pilot batch of Lada Largus 2024. Let us recall that the decision to move production from Togliatti here was made this year, but the enterprise will start operating as planned only in the spring of next year.

The TASS publication, meanwhile, quotes Maxim Sokolov, the head of the company, regarding future plans. Thus, he predicts the production of at least thirty thousand station wagons in 2024. This applies to standard and battery versions. However, the final figures may change in the future. Everything will depend on government support (photo: Lada).

It is reported that the first six copies of Lada Largus in the “green” variation rolled off the assembly line yesterday. In total, thirty of these cars are planned to be assembled. All of them will undergo the necessary tests, as well as the certification procedure. As for the electric modification of the station wagon, its share will be about ten percent of the total production volume. If we consider the production process itself, the line assembles up to 25 cars per hour.

At the same time, in Krasnoyarsk they are offering to purchase the Visuva Tank all-terrain vehicle for seven million rubles. You can pre-order now – you need a 50% prepayment.
